USOA North American Spearfishing Records
John asked that the following spreadsheet be posted. For now I have done screen captures to images to get the data here. I will work out a better way for future updates. There will be 7 pages/images for this. You can click on the image to open it up to see it better.

thats some neat info. looks like alot of records have been broken but people prob had no idea they had a record fish.

There is something wrong here, as the other skin diving records, which are up to date, have many fish larger than these, in many catagories. This is both skin and SCUBA. Where exactly did these come from? It seems that they are from all over. That is the problem when there are several record keeping places.

These records were kept by the UNDERWATER SOCIETY OF AMERICA which headquartered in Caliif.the FSDA was a member of USA and JIM ZUMWALT was the designated rep. unless you new about this your big fish were not officially recognised as records.A lot of the names on the list are the original movers and shakers of our sport,and the original charter members of the FSDA clubs in Florida.Contact the FSDA rep and they can proably set you up with skin and scuba rules.
