I just found out that Omer shipped the new intermediate-size footpockets to the retailers this week, they should have them in stores by end of this week or early next week for anyone that doesn't have a good fit currently. I wish I knew that earlier, my 5mm dive socks should be arriving tomorrow

Just don't accept them when they come, they'll be sent back. Then ask for a refund. I'm waiting on those heavily used 42-44 pockets Just be careful and make sure regular blades without the nub can fit into the new pockets.

Good news, Mark just replied to my email about the attachment system and clarified that the new footpockets will work with both the new and old blades.

I spoke with scubasworld and Ausins. Scubasworld never heard of the new pockets. Austins said that the in between sized pockets are identical to the old ones, it appears they are not informed about them, the price they gave me though is first $120 then $96 for a pair of the new ones. Who is Mark?

Mark Laboccetta, the distributer of OMER gear in the US. I talked to the manager at Austin's, they will have the new pockets on Friday or Monday and are going to charge the same price as the old ones, which are 60 bucks per pocket. Mark said that Scuba's world will have them too, but perhaps they didn't know that they are coming.
