Nothing you haven't heard before, but I'd like to share. I recently became in need of some more shafts and a couple fresh bands wouldn't hurt either. I called Ken Jones. When I bought the gun from someone else a few years ago, I got it for a steal. Ken and I talked about it briefly once just after I bought it. He remembered making that gun. He almost bought it back himself
I'm glad I grabbed it. It has served me well for a long time and numerous fish have been laser sighted with this piece of weaponry. I called Ken and he returned my call momentarily even though he was travelling and working. He called and said I would have to wait to come by as he was in Vegas and he would be home in a few days. I called him that Friday, he said come on by. What an awesome guy. He met me at 7:00 pm. He graciously invited my wife and 5 month old daughter in, however they were in the middle of a road trance nap that I was NOT about to interrupt. Ken meets me at the door and shakes my hand. As we pass thru the living room and say hi to his wife and daughter, I couldn't help but smile and humbly pass by as I said hi, because I appreciate Ken taking the time to meet with me and my needs while he is spending time at home. So, I get to go into the garage where I bring my old beat up Deathstick and share a few stories and Ken talks to me like an old pal. Such a cool guy. He even took the time to tie a couple bands real quick so I could have some fresh ones. I was LUCKY to see the new gun for GR, not finished yet, but that thing is sick looking. Thanks Ken for exceptional services, advice, ideas, and for building a tank for a gun. I have been happy with my Deathstick from day one. I will never shoot another. Just for the sheer sake of service and loyalty to Ken. Thanks buddy, I really appreciate everything. Make something out of that light idea if you can. Or, if you are interested, you could place an order for some, I'll figure out a way to make a modified prototype and have a guy punch some out. But your the gun man, I'm just a plumber trying to kill fish, and loving it. Thanks again, Ryan |
