I've been told this site is intimidating for people looking for spearfishing info.

The reason is that when you first pull it up, the first section is the tournament info instead of the 'general' section. It's almost a page down, so people just think it is about tournaments.

I don't think most of us notice, because we use the 'new posts' link and don't actually scan sections?

Suggestion is to move 'general' to top main category.

Good observation. I do get tired of scrolling past the tournament section all the time.

I am one of the "new posts" clickers but I am totally down with moving the tourney stuff and putting the general info up top. It should be easy for new bros to look up stuff and feel welcomed.
